Vintage Cast Metal Candle Holder Pedestal Victorian 8.5" Marshall Fields 1968
My wife and I purchased this in 1968 at Marshall Fields with money we received at our wedding. It was used every Christmas and held a large red candle.

Additional description.
The base's 4 1/2 inches of height is made of nonmagnetic casting metal that was poured into a mold, the upper 4 inches is made of several parts of magnetic steel, and the top candle spike is made of brass. Inside the candle holder is a large brass screw, washers and nuts, much like those that are used to hold the pieces of a table lamp together.
I use lots of bubble wrap and a strong cardboard outer box for protection during shipping.
