Antique 1700's Cast Bronze Hanging Miner's Candleholders Lamps Rare For your consideration is an interesting pair of early lightening devises Made of cast bronze, these unusually looking hanging brackets presented a puzzle to us We have been told that these are rare and early miner's  candle holders, intended to be nailed to the rock, hence the spikes Any additional information would be appreciated The "holders" are intended to be moving up and down for the height of the light to be adjusted One moves freely, the other has been repaired and welded together long time ago, so it does not move Circa late 18th century Offered as a pair, but if you are interested for one separately, please inquire Measurements: Approx. 6.5" x 2.5" x 2.5" Weighs about 13 oz.
