Lot of 3 Beautiful Wood Hand Turned Candle Holders. Signed by Artist Tyler David. Includes 3 candles. The 3 sizes are 10", 12", 12 1/2".
Tyler harvests all of their own lumber on their local 20 acre woodlot. By using their own sawmill they are able to cut a variety of different hard and soft woods. Main woods used are Basswood, Aspen, Cherry, Maple, Pine and Ash along with some other specialty woods. All the different woods accept color differently which gives each piece many unique characteristics and makes them truly one of a kind.
An oil based is applied and gives pigment to the wood while it’s still on the lathe. As the lathe turns, a cloth is pressed onto the surface of the wood creating enough heat to bond the color to the wood imparting a rich luster to the surface.
Each piece is signed, numbered and dated and comes with a candle.
