WOW! What a great estate find -
Unique item to say the least....this one covers a lot of ground. Chicken foot, Eagle claw, Dinosaur talon - could be any of them! Beautiful brass figural item - that it definitely is! Truly a mid century gem. Multi use decor - has the pillar candlestick holder on the top. Also works well as just a decor item on any table or mantle, serves as a bookend well too. Just an eye catching and conversation piece. Nice weight - hollowed out brass. I have not cleaned this one up or polished it. It has been left in the 'original' state at your discretion. There is some was residue on the upper area and a bit has obviously dripped down - but not bad at all (review pictures). Some don't like the 'shiny' brass so I have not polished it up. I am sure it could be shined right up if you choose to do so.
Item measures 6.5 inches tall; claw span is 5.25; candle are is 7/8 in diameter and about 1 inch deep. There are 4 talons / claws on the foot.
