Offered is a Mid Century hand blown glass candle holder, manufactured by Viking Art Glass. The Epic Taperglow Candle holder was designed in 1958 and in limited production until the early 1960's. Described as Swedish Modern decor - tall, graceful,envied and modern.
They came in various sizes and colors but this is the largest and the purple is the prettiest in my humble opinion!
Taperglow candle holders were hand blown, so no two are exactly alike. I say that because I have two, but I felt they were just different enough to offer them up separately. I also wasn't sure trying to ship them in the same box would be wise!
Approxinate dimensions: 18 1/2" tall x 4 1/2"wide x 4 1/2"4 1/2" deep. In great vintage condition with normal characteristics of hand blown glass...bubbles striations etc. These did have wax in them so there maybe be residue. There may also be a couple little scuffs from light use and there is one little flea bite chip circled on one of the photos.
And I apologize for the photo quality. This candle holder is HUGE and was hard to photograph. Definitely a conversation piece!
