Vintage Blue & White Ceramic Lantern Candle Holder

These are two very eye catching candle holders which are lantern shaped. They were with other Italian made ceramics but this particular pair are unmarked. They hold small taper candles and spread the light through the lattice work around the top.
One of the lanterns has had a broken handle which has been repaired. Please look closely at the photos. It was broken in 3 places. It is in otherwise very good condition.
The second lantern is in excellent condition and is free from chips and breaks.
These pieces have been hand painted and while they are similar they don't actually have the exact same patterns.
