1-3/4" H x 4" W Low profile matching candleholders, with a very DENSE amount of fossils. Origin: Morocco I live in Tucson. In the month of February is the world's largest Gem Show. The whole city is full of incredible natural items from all over the world. If I sell something like this, it's because I found it at a reputable dealer and the quality is handpicked by myself. I picked these up a few years ago, and they were stored, since then. So, would they be considered "new" since they are 200-500 million years old? Full disclosure...these are "old stock". I mean REALLY OLD. However, I can honestly say I bought them from a Moroccan dealer, and he was probably the first one to have these items since they were formed millions of years ago. Have a dinner party and invite your favorite Cephalopod! Or bring these to the table and talk with your kids about volcanic activity, tectonic plates and Pangea. Possibly some dinosaurs were there too, give or take a million years. Its hard to tell without checking their ID's. Silliness aside, if you are like me, I enjoy having natural items around me (wood, shells, gemstones, stone). These are low profile and PACKED full of shells and Orthoceras and possibly an ammonite piece or 2. They are all from the same area, and within that time period. The stone is possibly Marinace (not Marble as other people have identified) and I see some crystalized area within these holders, which adds to its uniqueness.
