This is a handmade wooden votive candle holder. It was made using a log and wood lathe, by my wife.
This piece of wood was part of a log found on a hike in Colorado. It has beautiful grain and color variation. The piece of wood had many holes which made it difficult to turn, but the amazing results are worth the extra time and skill it takes to turn this type of wood. This can be used with a real votive candle that has a glass container around it or use a battery powered faux candle as shown in the photo.
