This early lighting candle holder is designed to hold a grubby candle or a battery grubby candle which is not included (candle and candle ring shown in picture - not included). This candle holder lighting fixture is painted Antique White over Black and distressed (very grungy and dirty antique white) . It has an 3 peg holes in the handle to hang over a cabinet knob, nail or peg - very prim. This truly is a must have for your primitive home Measurements of the homestead early lighting fixture are 4" wide at base x 3 1/2" deep x 19" high and made from pine, which may show some of the natural grain and knots in the wood.
