The photo with the 4 rubber grips, the big rubber grips are to go on the bottom of the glass, with the small rubber grips on the top of the glass.
The last picture shows the bottom of the stand and there is one missing rubber foot, it does not interfere with the stabilization of the candle holder. You can not tell it's missing unless you turn it upside down.
The candles that are included are brand new, not the ones seen in the pictures.
