Solid and pierced Brass Buddhist temple candle stands with elaborate foliate decoration and chased surface embellishment, with a “cage” in the center, mounted on painted wood bases. Converted to table lamps ca mid 20th Century. RARE pair. Late Meiji Period. Dimensions: Approx. 37 in. H to top of Shade harps (no finials). Base is 10.25 in. Diameter.
