They resemble a shell and simple painted details. Review the photos as they are part of the description. They measurement about 6" wide x 5 1/2" long x 1 1/2" tall. They will hold a 1" candle. The one with the butterfly on it has a small fleck in front and the one marked on the back has a line crack but not deep on the underside handle - both are pictured
