Italian Chapman Weight Scale & Candle Holder

Circa 1900. Vintage Italian Chapman balance beam scale, featuring a candle holder. Used condition. Brass material. Originally from Rome, Italy. Wonderful patina. The attached candle holder is today a beautiful aesthetic touch. However, during the creation of this piece, the candle holder served a much more practical purpose- to continue one's work after sun set.
