The midsection is shaped like an egg, hollow in center, with a little bluebird and egg nest set in green grass.  There is a metal insert at the top for a taper candle - cup opening is just short of 1 inch across.  The candle holder measures about 5 1/2 inches high by 2 7/8 inches base diameter.
