Candles appearing in some pictures were used only to show how these Candle Holders look with candles which are available in stores such as Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc. Please Also Note : These Candle Holders are very well matched in size and decoration. Color variations in pics are due to light reflecting off the shiny ceramic surfaces at different angles. They have the same dimensions, but my lack of photography skills may inappropriately make you think otherwise! Apparently never held lighted candles - so they have no wax residues. Colors are bright and crisp with no fading. One has small areas of very mild crazing (out of view on the underside, and on its base near the Cup) with minimal impact on its appearance and too light to show up in pictures. A pinpoint black fleck typical of ceramic manufacturing appears on one Candle Holder – this is a manufacturing issue. A tiny bubble of extra porcelain material appears to have interrupted application of green trim on one base during manufacture - another manufacturing issue and not the result of damage.
