A Beautiful reclaimed art piece by well known Lakeside, Montana artist Dixie Wajdic. This unique tea light holder is crafted from old cedar or juniper fence posts gathered from long abandoned homesteads in Montana. It features a combination of the natural original, weathered wood, juxtaposed with sanded smooth, varnished top edge. There Is still has a piece of the old barbed wire attached to the weathered area. Signed and numbered by the artist, Dixie Wajdic, and carries the "Made in Montana" label on the bottom. Measures 3” Height x 5” Length. Dixie’s approach to art is to use natural pieces and repurpose them. Each of her pieces is one of a kind. I love the how she reveals the rich beauty of the interior that hides under the very weathered and old exterior.
