Cambridge Martha Washington Moonlight Blue Glass Candlestick Holder

From the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch farming communities nestled among the rolling hills of Lancaster County Pennsylvania Offered for sale: A pair of elegant candlesticks made by Cambridge Glass in the early part of the 1900s in the Martha Washington line. Their Moonlight Blue color is gorgeous, they have a distinctive thumbprint pattern around their centers and are in great condition, with no scratches, cracks or chips. They will surely add a touch of elegance to your table -- or anywhere else you might place them. Approximate measurements; 4 inches tall to top of candle cup 4 and 7/8 inch diameter. There is a small manufacturing flaw in one of the candlesticks where It is slightly raised at the bottom of its candle cup. This prevents a thinner taper candle from being seated properly. It requires a little hollowing out at the bottom of a thin candle for it to sit straight in the holder. One of the white candles included in the listing has this done for you. I simply took a potato peeler and removed a bit of the wax in the center of the bottom of the candle. This was not necessary for the blue candles shown in the photographs with the candles lit. Those tapers are thicker at the bottom and fit in snugly without any adjustment at all. Not a significant flaw, but I would certainly understand if you'd rather not have to take a potato peeler to the bottom of your candles :) Please review all the photographs carefully, as they really are the best description, to determine if this beautiful pair of candlestick holders might come to light up a spot in your home.
