Biomorphic Candlestick Holder

This candle holder is beautiful and really sculptural. It has some minor signs of age, including minor amounts of rust and wear along some edges (see last 2 pics). Some similar listings for this item list as Mid Century Modern and being from then 1950s but I haven’t been able to confirm that. Personally, I feel it might be more of a modern piece and would go really well with minimalist, postmodern, neutral, mcm or boho interiors. I also see it listed as wrought iron but I am not positive on material. It is quite heavy and durable.
