Best Early Antique Primitive Push Up Spiral Courting Candle Holder

This is a nice primitive original antique push up spiral courting candle holder that comes complete with an old early tallow nub and has the chair tab still in place. Check out the pics. It is the last one like this we have to part with here so if you've been searching for one don't miss out on this one. It's a good one. It's been cleaned so it's not as rusty or grubby as some of them are that we have had in our collection in the past. It's in wonderful shape and it's an oldie and the bottom wood base has the forged iron spike bent through the bottom as you see in the pics. The holder itself measures a bit over 7 inches tall and the early tallow nub is a bit over 3 inches and has been burned. The push up lever works great and moves freely. It's been used over the years so there is expected wear for an item of this era but overall it's in great shape as we already mentioned.
